Like you, I am – body, mind and soul.
There are many words for what I do : senior yoga teacher, yoga therapist, wellness coach and Ayurvedic, Energy Medicine (Jin Shin Jyutsut Acupressure), Shamanic Healing, and Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioner. I use these and many other techniques, philosophies and arts to simplify, educate, inspire, and guide people to their mental and physical harmony.
I am passionate about health and feeling good. But I am not obsessed about it because occasional treat isn’t going to kill you.
I am a food, wellness, and personal growth expert and I am not afraid to say it. Mind, body, anatomy, digestion, energy, relationships, interconnectedness, medicine, food, bio chemistry is what I spend my time on. I have easily put more than 30,000+ hours into studying, reading, thinking, and writing about it. The more you dive into the fascinating world of conscious living, small miracles become the norm of your everyday life, the less you need any scientific explanation. It makes you more quiet, humble and mesmerized with life and creation. At least, this is my experience.
My medicine is awareness, lifestyle changes, whole foods, yoga, relaxation, nature therapy, sound therapy and most importantly – understanding and training of the mind.
I don’t teach people to control their mind. If fact, my favorite rule is that “there are no rules” (other than the rules of Nature). In yoga, I teach people, no poses. My passion is to enlighten my clients so they understand their amazing mind and body. This way, positive changes happen naturally and struggle-free. This is when your thoughts, your mind, and your heart agree.
I learned to be happy within and I create what I want consistently. Beliefs that don’t serve me still surface at times but I immediately become aware of them and make spontaneous appropriate choices that move my life in a purposeful and meaningful direction. I wasn’t always a very happy person, even though I appeared to be happy so to others and I had no reasons not to be happy. Life challenges (not without suffering) brought me very close to real me and made me discover myself behind the layers of limiting beliefs, conditioning and programming.
I was willing to do the internal work, one step at a time. This journey brought me to peace and harmony within.
According to Vedic Astrology, I am a Venusian. I was born under the influence of exalted Venus in Pisces. Venus is the planet of love, food, creativity, the senses, pleasure and joy. Venus prompts us to take the unreal to the real and the dis-eased to wholeness. The Venusian road leads from the alluring circle of self-gratification to the healing intelligence of LOVE.
According to Pythagorean Numerology, my destiny number is 11. This number is often called “the psychic”. It represents illumination, subconscious, sensitivity, insight and expanding consciousness.
I am fascinated about how we, humans, are designed and I am endlessly curious about how our minds work. I can’t stop learning and discovering about our energetic bodies and the flow of energy. I am amazed at the power of the mind and our healing abilities. I have dozens of courses, retreats, and programs all over the world. I have read hundreds of books. I can’t stop learning and discovering. But what I really love is to simplify and demystify complex concepts and often erroneous perceptions. I love to share my knowledge with people and apply it to see transformation in myself and others.
I am also a former Microsoft marketing manager turned yogi :).
A hectic business career, several life changing experiences, and years of living in the East (Japan and Bali) combined with my love of health, balance, and everything real, inspired my curiosity for Eastern philosophy, human psychology, the power of mind, quantum physics, and especially Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, breath work as tools for the creation of balance & harmony in my life.
Before becoming an alternative medicine practitioner and health coach, I worked as a marketing manager at Microsoft, GMI, Deloitte, USDA and other organizations.
While living in Japan, I also enjoyed working as a language instructor, translator, and an international tour organizer for several local universities, schools, and business enterprises.
