A highly developed form of Japanese Acupressure
    Energy Medicine Therapy

It is a healing modality, a physio-philosophy, and an ancient art of releasing tension, which is the cause of various symptoms in the body. Designed to heal the body by harmonizing its flow of energy, Jin Shin Jitsu a non-massage form of shiatsu developed by Jiro Murai in Japan.

A Jin Shin Jyutsu session or series of treatments induce a state of deep relaxation and can help with virtually any physical or mental health condition.

Skilled practitioners trained in this non-invasive healing art work now collaborate with medical doctors, surgeons, and psychiatrists in California Pacific Medical Center, Swedish Physicians, and Morristown NJ Hospital – the Cancer Institute of NJ.

    How does it work?

Similarly to the nervous, blood, endocrine and immune systems, there is a very complex energy circulatory system that governs all the processes in the human body. It is a very precise and intelligent movement of energy consisting of thousands paths happening according to the bio rhythm of the Earth and repeating the cycle every 24 hours.

Ayurveda, Chinese, and Japanese traditional systems of medicine have known about, studied and used the energy circulatory or meridian system for thousands of years.

Just like your nervous system can be affected by a pinched in one place nerve, your energy circulatory system can be blocked by a physical disease in the body or a destructive emotional state of mind. When energy encounters obstacles on its path, it can stagnate, reverse, deviate, and later collide and intermingle. Similar to a broken traffic light on a busy road, an energy blockage can create havoc in the body. When one or more of these paths become blocked, this damming effect may lead to discomfort or even pain.

The receiver of a Jin Shin Jyutsu private session remains clothed and lies face up on a massage table.

A series of sessions has a powerful synergetic effect and allows the whole body to be systematically included.
